Dr. Isam Sabbah - Founder

Dr. Isam Sabbah, the founder of Agrobics, is an expert and a researcher in wastewater treatment with extensive experience.

Dr. Sabbah is a senior researcher at the R&D Center of the Galilee Society and a senior lecturer in the Biotechnology Engineering Department of Ort Braude College in Karmiel. Prior to his present positions, he was Scientific Director at the Research and Development Center of the Galilee Society, Design Engineer at Goldshmidt Environmental Engineering and Design in Tel-Aviv, and Environmental Engineer at the Shefa-Amr Municipality in Israel.

Dr. Isam Sabbah holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering, and an M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering, all from the Technion, Technology Institute of Israel, Haifa.

Dr. Sabbah is author and co-author of numerous publications in professional peer-reviewed journals. He has presented papers at international conferences.

Nedal Massalha

Nedal Massalha is the Chief Engineer of Agrobics.

Prior to his position at Agrobics, Massalha was involved in several research and development projects carried out within the framework of the Galilee Society R&D Center in Shefa-Amr, Israel, related to wastewater treatment and reuse in rural areas.

He served as project manager at Sobhi Darawshe and was involved in planning infrastructure water distribution systems.

In his position as development engineer in Vertigro – Israel, Massalha took part in the development of biological and botanical technologies to treat air pollution in buildings.

Massalha holds a B.Sc. in Agricultural Engineering and an M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering, both from the Technion, Technology Institute of Israel, Haifa. He was awarded the Greenspan Award for his M.Sc. thesis in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Technion.

Ahlam Saliba

Ahlam Saliba is the laboratory manager of Agrobics.

Prior to her position at Agrobics, Ahlam worked at the research laboratories of the Galilee Society, Shefa-amr, and she was involved in several research and development projects related to wastewater treatment and reuse in rural areas.

Ahlam has completed her studies in Practical Chemical Engineering at the Technion, the Technology Institute of Israel, Haifa, and she holds a B.A. in Biology from the Open University.

Muhammad Hussin

Muhamad Hussin is a technician in Agrobics laboratory.

Hussin graduated in Biotechnology Practical Engineering from Ort Braude College in Karmiel. His senior project was "Anaerobic co-digestion of agricultural wastes for biogas production."
